Executive Intent
Joint venture between Whirlpool Corporation & Transcom led to start of new project scope for Bangladesh market.
User Need
Our self-initiated research suggested people frequently change homes or move to different cities because of their jobs. Another set of people also renovate their homes every two or three years. Both these sets of users want to quicly change their fascia as they cannot/do not want want to change their appliance
Design Concept
This observation led us to envision an AC with changeable fascia. The interesting part ? Users can buy these fascia panels at a minimal cost from the company website and change the panels themselves. The organisational benefit is that this strategy helped to generate post-purchase business as well.
